After writing about and researching abusive relationships for the past three days I need a break, and I’ll bet you all do, too. So now for something completely different…
Yesterday I participated in the International Speech Contest through Toastmasters, and won the club-level competition. I will be moving up to the Area next month, and from there, with any luck the Division. In these competitions it is generally understood that the ideal speech will be inspirational, and I like to think that it is that – but I also wanted it to be funny.
So for a laugh, and hopefully a little inspiration, I present to you:
